SECONDARY SCHOOL “KOLE NEHTENIN” – ŠTIP

Inclusive and Sustainable Education

The project for the complete reconstruction of the Secondary Vocational School “Kole Nehtenin” – Štip is currently ongoing and represents a strategic investment in high‑quality, accessible and socially inclusive vocational education. The interventions cover the entire school complex, with a total gross floor area of 7,400 m², and are guided by a people‑centred and long‑term approach to educational infrastructure.

As the project progresses, the spatial and technical conditions for both theoretical and practical education within the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and hospitality‑tourism programmes are being continuously improved. Classrooms, laboratories, workshops and supporting facilities are undergoing reconstruction and functional upgrading in line with contemporary educational requirements and professional standards.

A key focus of the ongoing project is its strong social and inclusive dimension. The planned and implemented measures aim to ensure full accessibility for persons with disabilities, enabling barrier‑free movement and equal participation in the educational process for all students, teaching staff and visitors.

Expected project outcomes include:

  • a safe, accessible and inclusive learning environment
  • improved conditions for education and practical training
  • compliance with current vocational education standards
  •  strengthening of the school’s role as a social and educational hub within the region

The reconstruction of Secondary School “Kole Nehtenin” – Štip is an ongoing investment in social equity, educational quality and the sustainable development of future generations.
